[Worldbuilder] Arda (Middle Earth)

The world of The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit in Rimworld. [img]https://i.imgur.com/DWUd26N.png[/img] -The world map is largely based on Karen Wynn Fonstad's second age Atlas of Middle Earth, as global maps of Middle Earth in the third age do not really exist. -Valinor as well as the Walls of the Sun are represented as dark shades on the ocean. You cannot actually settle, interact or visit them. -Factions and content is mostly limited to the region of Middle Earth that we follow in The Lord of the Rings, with some extra factions that are mentioned, such as the Corsairs or Easterlings. (This means there are entire continents empty) -Some settlement names are not canon and are either taken from other fan projects such as Ardacraft, are my own invention using the fictive languages Tolkien constructed or based on cultural-geographic inspirations of the factions. So if you don't intend to play this map, then don't have this mod enabled. -This mod reused a lot of the old Lord of the Rim's content, courtsey of erdelf and Jecrell. Thanks to them for the great content. -This mod uses Mlie's and Mutes varied body sizes to make smaller races such as Hobbits and Dwarves. -This mod also uses Criz's fork of Lord of the Rims - Orcs and Goblins as a base for the Orc factions. -Ths mod uses Medieval Overhaul/VFE: Medieval Factions as a base for a lot of faction content, you can't play without them. -Sea of Nurn is a bit too oversized. Will fix when Worldbuilder has elevation editing features. -This mod disables some natural generating features via world tech level because of feature worldgen-step randomly generating coasts, single tiles of rivers and mountains on flat plains despite me having already manually placed features. If you plan to play any game with a tech level above medieval, then disable this mod. -Facial Animation turns the player controlled Ent's head into a normal one. Looks weird. Doesn't do it for normally generated Ents. -I don't think I will be expanding the regions covered by this map in the future, with canonical details scarce on these regions, it would be my own head-canon and not necessarily true to Tolkien's vision. Though I may reconsider if there is a demand.
