Originally developed in the late 1930s by Soviet engineer Fedor Tokarev, the SVT-38 was an ambitious semi-automatic battle rifle chambered in 7.62×54mmR — a full-power cartridge known for its devastating recoil. It was meant to modernize infantry firepower but suffered from fragile construction and poor battlefield endurance. Its promise faded as quickly as it emerged.
Now, centuries later, long after Earth’s silence, a damaged schematic was salvaged on the Rim. Painstakingly rebuilt by desperate hands, the SVT-38 walks once more — temperamental, heavy, but undeniably powerful.
