What is this?

GUI Unifyer: Unified is a Factorio mod that standardizes the appearance of mod buttons, making them uniform, aligned, and visually consistent. This mod harmonizes most of the in-game icons, ensuring a cleaner and more organized interface.

Originally known as Gui Unifyer, by snouz, which was inspired by Better Modbuttons by Dr_Pepper. After years without updates and the release of Factorio 2.0, the mod was in need of resurrection—and here it is, reincarnated for Factorio 2.0 and Space Age.

I'm aware there are many bugs that were reported in the discussions section on the old version. Please report them here as they occur and I will try to fix them.

> ⚠️ Note: Currently, there is no clean way to uninstall the mod from an existing save. Doing so may leave behind empty icons.

Features

Tooltips for Hover Text: Many buttons that previously had no tooltip now include helpful hover text.

Customizable Button Styles: Choose from 11 different button styles to personalize your interface.

Tweakable Top Left Frame: Choose between normal, barebone, or invisible styles for the top left frame.

Persistent Button States: Most buttons now remain selected when their respective windows are open, adding to the consistency of your experience.

Dynamic Blueprint Button Visibility: Blueprint-related buttons only appear when a blueprint is selected.

Installation and Use

Download and Install: Install GUI Unifyer: Unified through the Factorio mod portal.
Settings: Tweak mod settings via the Factorio options menu to fit your preferences.

Known Issues

Uninstallation: As mentioned, uninstalling this mod from a save may leave empty icons. Consider this before removing it.
