What is this?
This is a fairly opinionated mod designed for modlists with alien planet options installed. The functions of this mod will definitely not be to everyone's taste, hence why it's its own mod and not bundled into an existing patch.
Why was this made?
I love the new planets being released by azey7f, but want to keep some of the biomes out of generating on the primary Rimworld planet. This makes it so these additional planets not only feel unique to eventually play on, but also keeps the original Rimworld planet vibe intact so these alien biomes feel more their own thing.
Current functions:
- If "Alien Worlds - Dreamworld" is loaded, the Rainbow Forest biome is removed from the generation of Rimworld planets, and remains exclusively on the Dreamworld planet.
- If "Alien Worlds - Nightworld" is loaded, the Lightless Empyrean biome is removed from the generation of Rimworld planets, and remains exclusively on the Nightworld planet.
More will come as new planets and biomes enter the picture. This is a long-term project.
