The ghosts from Moelotl folklore have become real. Jiangshis, appearing in the remote world, are impervious to weapons and almost indestructible. They can only be dealt with by "Taoist priests".

Accept the Moelotl's request and fight jiangshis appearing in the wild or the colony. There are five jiangshi levels. Each higher level grants an extra skill. Low-level jiangshis fear many things like taoist artifacts, sunlight, and fire, but high-level ones can overcome these weaknesses.
Train a Taoist priest to combat evil. Use ritual tools like incantations, ink lines, and bagua mirrors to fight jiangshis strategically and exorcise evil.
Create your own jiangshi. Choose a four-yin site, suspend an overcast-wood sarcophagus, and cover a Moelotl's body in soil. Use a Bagua to absorb yin qi. When it awakens, command it.
A story unfolds through seven quests. Meet other Taoist priests, join forces to defeat evil, and uncover the source of the Moelotl village's troubles. Experience the joy (or frustration) of being a Taoist exorcist.

A: Temporary incompatibility.

A: Yes.
Q: Is this mod an Anomaly Expansion?
A: No, it did use the 1.5 newly added Mutant system, but didn't rely on Anomaly DLC. However, due to certain mechanics and material reasons, the mod relies on Royalty DLC.
Q: Can I adjust the mod intensity in-game?
A: You can adjust the magnification of specific values such as damage through mod Settings.

2025/04/01: Fixed a conflict with RimImmortal that cannot trade with the moelotl on the drug dealer's quest.
2025/04/05: Refined the incoming damage factor setting of jiangshis after canceling the 400 malevolent qi Invulnerability.
2025/04/11: Added "Lotus Lantern" to recruit jiangshis. Can not be made, need to complete a new side quest to get it. This quest spawns when a taoist has killed at least 8 jiangshis in the colony.
2025/04/13: The jiangshi ability "Catch" cooldown has been changed from 12 seconds to 7 seconds, but losing targets during aiming will also start the cooldown.
2025/04/20: Added some apparels for jiangshi.
2025/07/18: Fixed the issue where jiangshis were not visible in the colonists' tab and optimized the performance problem that became serious after version 1.6.
