You attempt to relay this to the Empire at large but your communications are jammed, before you can find out the source your vessel is rocked by the impact of a blast from a planetary Ion Cannon, with all subsystems and power disrupted, the bombers are on you in minutes, fracturing your hull and sending many men into space, you just manage to seal a bulkhead, make it to an escape pod and flee, before the vessel detonates
