Character Background
A former soldier of Kalido, Brant drifted off course and found himself in the star system of the United Fleet. After spending some time with them, he officially joined their ranks and eventually rose to command a battleship as its captain.
During his time with the United Fleet, Brant participated in numerous operations of varying scale, accumulating a distinguished combat record. Like the Fleet's ship-girls, he linked with the Hyperdimensional Network, granting him [b]eternal lifespan[/b]. Throughout all of this, he never stopped searching for information about Kalido.
When the United Fleet overloaded the United Sword and launched a strike on the star system housing the Black Monolith's core, Brant — due to his connection to the Hyperdimensional Network — was critically wounded by the weapon's side effects. He survived only through [b]partial cybernetic reconstruction and gene integration from the ship-girls[/b].
After arriving in the universe of the Fringe Worlds alongside the United Fleet, Brant detected a signal from Kalido and broke away from the Fleet to return. However, his neutral stance toward terrestrial civilizations made him unwelcome there, and he was ultimately recruited by the [b]Mirila Empire as a privateer captain[/b].
Some time later, the deep-sea Tirpitz came to this fringe planet for leisure and discovered Brant — now [b]1,500 years old[/b]. In recognition of this elder veteran, she constructed a United Dreadnought from hyperdimensional material to replace his aging battleship.
