Simple Leadership

[img]https://i.imgur.com/UjfWIvn.gif[/img] With Simple Leadership, you are given the ability to track Faction Leadership and generate Base Leadership. These leaders are generated with your world pawns, to give your planet more life and lets you assign faces to your enemies and allies. Leaders generated for factions are pulled from your world pawn generation. This system establishes leadership circles that don’t require hard coding and are automatically compatible with modded factions. You will be able to track the [b]Who, What and Where[/b] of your enemies and allies. Allowing you to use this information to your benefit. [b]Who[/b] leads the faction/bases that are constantly harassing you and your colonist? Now you have a name to the chaos. [b]What[/b] are your enemies up to? Bases will have events that affect not only themselves but how they interact with your faction. [b]Where[/b] are they hiding? Tracking down faction leadership can be tiresome and entirely up to RNG. Simple Leadership eliminates the guesswork and lets you get to the action. How does it work? In vanilla, when your world is generated so are your Faction Leaders. Simple Leadership also implements Base Leadership into this equation. Base Leaders are faction pawns that are given control of a certain amount of bases under that faction. This is usually 3-5 bases, depending on the size of the faction and the amount of bases available. [img]https://i.imgur.com/nZ4ckVU.gif[/img] [b]"Track" leaders with a simple yet compatible system[/b] [list] [*] When clicking on bases, you will be presented with a encounter chance of the leaders. This is how likely they are to spawn when generating this map. The more bases that pawn is responsible for, the less likely they are to be there. [*] This percentage chance is directly tied to how many active bases are under the control of that pawn. Faction leaders have control of every base under their faction - naturally making them much rarer to see. [*] Want to increase your chances of finding leaders? Start eliminating those bases! Systematically removing bases they control means they have less places to hide. Eventually you'll be guaranteed to find them! [*] There are also events that increase the chances of a leader spawning. Keep an eye out for bases when they decide to host an inspection for a better chance of finding leaders! [/list] [b]Leaders are part of the world[/b] [list] [*] Both Base and Faction leaders have an increased market value, making them more expensive than regular pawns. [*] Raids are now attributed to the closest base to your home. When a raid message appears, you will be able to see exactly what base was responsible for putting together the raid to attack you and plot your revenge. [*] This applies to Outposts claimed by the faction as well. Some events will effect outpost generation and how well they can repel attacks. [*] You can come across these leaders naturally as well, although rare - Leaders can spawn in raids if they decide to assist their troops [*] Base Leaders are also the ones up for promotion when factions are experiencing a Power Void. [/list] [b]Events[/b] Every base and faction can now have independent events happen naturally. These events can affect themselves and your colony - depending on what the event is. [list] [*] [b] Fortifying Event - [/b]This base has bolstered its defenses significantly. They will have increased threat levels when generated. [*] [b] Power Struggle Event - [/b]This base is undergoing a power struggle to determine its new leader. Sites and Raids generated by this base have reduced threat levels. [*] [b] Power Void Event - [/b]This faction has no central authority figure. Which resulted in a power void while a new leader is established. Bases/Raids under this faction will be weakened. [*] [b] Inspection Event - [/b]This base is scheduled for inspection by higher command. Faction and Base leadership are much more likely to spawn at this base. [*] [b] Vigilant Event - [/b]This base is being extremely attentive to its surroundings. Caravans are much more likely to be noticed. [*] [b] Rioting Event - [/b]This base is fed up with its local leadership and is currently attempting to overthrow them. [*] [b] Famine Event - [/b]This base is experiencing a famine. Most pawns are experiencing starvation. [*] [b] Sanctioned Event - [/b]This faction has been sanctioned and does not have the funds to trade. [*] [b] Heavily Supported Event - [/b]This base is currently heavily supported by their faction. Any attack on this base will cause them to use their best equipment. [*] [b] Prisoner Transfer Event - [/b]This base is currently supporting a Prisoner Transfer. When attacking there will be a high number of prisoners present. [*] [b] Reinforcements Event - [/b]This base currently has reinforcements on standby. They will call them if attacked. Leadership events and modifiers act independently from any external mods. [b] Boots Sensible Factions -[/b] Faction bases are generated in clusters. Bases close together will have the same leader, making for a more cohesive experience.
