Introduction The Legion are synthetically made soldiers developed during the civil war in the Luminor System, one of the Glitterworlds, between the Corporate Union Forces, a coalition of megacorporations including Aegis Corporation, and the system’s legitimate government, the Luminor Empire. Outnumbered in manpower, the Corporate Union turned to the development of artificial soldiers to offset their disadvantage. The Legion were capable of executing more sophisticated tactics and conducting more efficient military operations than mechanoids. They adapted to combat environments better than ordinary human soldiers, and most importantly, even if they were destroyed, as long as their mind chip could be recovered, their memories and accumulated combat experience could be preserved and transferred into a new body. For this reason, they were mass-produced and widely deployed throughout the civil war. Thanks to their battlefield performance, the Corporate Union succeeded in driving the Empire out of the capital world and securing dominance over the entire star system. However, once the war ended, there was no place for the Legion in times of peace. Their innate aggressiveness led to widespread social problems. The newly established Luminor Federal Republic recognized the necessity of eliminating them by any means. But by then, the Legion had already been produced in such vast numbers that they far outstripped active human soldiers. Numerically and qualitatively, they were no longer a force humanity could overpower through military means. Politicians and corporate magnates feared a potential uprising, yet the more ambitious among them turned their gaze beyond the star system. They proposed forming expeditionary fleets centered around the Legion to conquer other planets, dispersing the Legion across distant fronts and gradually reducing their numbers through continuous warfare. Based on this proposal, Aegis Corporation,guaranteed full governing authority over newly conquered worlds,dispatched numerous expeditionary fleets to distant star systems. Regardless of whether those systems were already under the control of other powers, they launched invasions and steadily brought entire planets under their dominion. Instead of remaining simple and compliant, they developed reasoning capabilities comparable to humans, along with an aggressiveness that far surpassed them. To suppress this heightened belligerence, the Legion require regular doses of a stabilizing agent known as “Velatol.” Resurrection System [img]https://i.imgur.com/aaNVce0.png[/img] Legions can be revived if you extracted their mind chips from their corpses, and make their new body out of bionic resources that are obtained from grinding humanoid corpses. Xenotypes Legions are consisted of 3 Xenotypes [img]https://i.imgur.com/y0Msyh2.png[/img] The Legio Tenus is capable of handling administration works to a certain extent and is less violent than the other subspecies. However, its overall combat effectiveness is inferior to that of the other two variants. It possesses more advanced cognitive capabilities than standard Legion soldiers, though its inherent aggressiveness remains unchanged. The Aquilifer xenotype is capable of using abilities that provide tactical support to nearby Legion units.
