I no longer have plans to update or maintain this mod and as such it is now under MIT license. Anyone may fork or update this but I would appreciate credit if you do
This mod simplifies RimForge by modifying recipes to use vanilla resources and removing the modded resources introduced by RimForge. (Along with the accompanying buildings that exclusively use or produce them)
I love the buildings RimForge adds, but on larger modlists, it can get frustrating to make some special resource for only half a dozen buildings. So I removed that hassle, while also tweaking their costs for better balance.
I recommend using "Tab Sorting" or "Drag Sorting" to rearrange the buildings, as the designation categories for the buildings in this mod are assigned at runtime, meaning I can’t patch them.
Also, I suggest pairing this with "RimForge Retextured", as some of the design changes fit these new prices better—plus, they just look better in general IMO. (Those are also the textures used for the infographics)
If you feel I’ve messed up the balance somewhere, please leave a comment! (And the same goes if you find a bug — make sure to include a Hugslib log.)
