HISTORY / LORE
Whilst her builders have been lost to time, the Vermont was completed in 1897 and launched for the Sawer & Arid Steam Navigation Co., also known by its nickname "The V Line." The Vermont had a pretty tame career up until 1914 when she was torpedoed by a German U-Boat whilst rounding the south western tip of the Sawer Mainland. She sank around 8 minutes later, and all six crew members took to her lifeboat and were rescued by a larger British Freighter not long after that chased the pesky U-Boat off with it's deck guns.
