Preface: this mod has been made for personal use, it has also been in development BEFORE Oddysey DLC and hence the addition of Helium-3 extractor. During development, I decided I would publish it quickly, so I sprung up a quick research tab, and some magic scifi x realistic physics taboo. Disclaimer: Most assets are direct re-use of ET - Fusion Power by Aelanna. Reuse accounts for custom sprites for the Decaying Tritium, and Pure Helium, and parts stripped from ET-FP production buildings, to create mine. !!PLEASE USE [SYR Processor Framework] MOD!! Description: Do you enjoy using the most expensive fuels for the best outcomes? Do you hate RNG? Do you love self sufficiency? Look no further, presenting Hel-3, short for Helium-3 Extracting, this mod adds 3 new ways to produce Helium-3 outside Gas giant harvesting! Based on real-life concepts i adapted to my use with ~sci-fi magic~. Created solely to minimize RNG, where at time, Helium-3 was only able to be aqquired from trading. Content: - 3 Production Buildings for Producing Helium-3: Centrifuge = extracts Pure Helium and Helium-3 from the atmosphere, via a gas centrifuge to seperate gasses from each other. Compressor = pressurizes Pure excess Helium into a super compact molecular cluster, which then fissions into neutron radiation and Helium-3. Decay Chamber = decays specialized materials, namely tritium, using gamma radiation, into Helium-3. - 2 Materials used during the process: Decaying tritium = tritium treated via neutroamine to significantly speed up the decaying process, used exclusively in Decay Chamber. Pure Helium = Helium-4 the most common isotope used exclusively inside Compressors, derived from the atmosphere using Centrifuges. SYR Processor Framework: - I have not been able to safely implement the whole mod as a package in my mod, so I decided to make it a requirement. the mod is required to use the buildings as intended, making them as masked fermenting barrel for custom resources, which I decided to use to make Helium-3 time sensitive task, by making it take time to ripen. Eccentric Tech - Fusion Power: - the baseline mod =-=, without this, you won't have a reason to use this mod, my mod is not fully integrated, especially with the fluid network. my mod is shoddy, and unpolished, but I hope to remedy that someday. Rights + Credits: Aelanna - Owner of Eccentric Tech - Fusion Power, and the original art, that I repurposed via recolors and whatnot to represent material and structures in this mod. I give her the full right to demand this mod be taken down, on infringment of her work. SYR Processor Network - the baseline code for 2/3 structures, aswell as their recipes. Bugs: None at the moment Future Plans: I'd like to look at a breakdown of Fusion Power's fluid pipes and network code, and granted i actually understand it, integrate my structures to deliver Hel-3 and other resources straight via Fluid pipes. This could ALSO change the Decaying tritium recipe to use a new building aswell as storing it in tanks, same with Pure Helium. better textures for Buildings + artistic & gameplay polish. questions, feature requests in comments and dedicated discussions.
