This will be the most groundbreaking new cooking expansion mod on the RimWorld Workshop. With it, you can replace almost any other cooking mod. I have reimagined the entire food preparation process from scratch, and successfully made it possible for players to design their own custom recipes. Imagine no longer being bound by fixed recipes set by mod authors. Players can freely define a dish’s name, description, flavor profile, buff effects, icon, and cooking method. Moreover, I have integrated a huge number of other mods, including Dubs Bad Hygiene, refrigerators, and many race mods. This allows you to achieve almost anything you want in terms of cooking — it’s practically a DLC in its own right.
This mod theoretically supports mid-game installation and CE (Combat Extended). If you want to remove it mid-save, please back up your save first.
Mod Features
1. Water Mechanics
Not the same as in Dubs Bad Hygiene. Now, starting near a water source gives you a huge advantage — most foods in this mod require water. Research water power early, build a well and a bucket, or you’ll be stuck eating raw food.
(Water from this mod and Dubs Bad Hygiene is interchangeable at a 10:1 ratio, and you can use Bad Hygiene’s pipes.)
2. Flavor System
Every ingredient has its own unique taste profile. Different cooking methods (raw/cold mix, stovetop, campfire) change flavor values. Each colonist has personal taste preferences. See the standalone Flavor System mod for details.
3. Cultural Meme & Dietary Precepts
Adds one new meme, ten dietary precepts, a chef role (economic), and a feast table building. Experience authentic Chinese food culture like never before.
4. Massive Recipe Collection
Together with the base Basket of Veggies mod (which provides 5 major ingredient categories), this mod delivers an immersive cooking experience.
Seasoning System – You can configure a seasoning station, and colonists will automatically add seasonings to their meals, granting various buffs.
Quest Chain – Complete a series of quests to unlock the Culinary God Workbench and create custom recipes.
Note: This mod integrates with the in-game gift‑sending mod (“Red Packet” / chat room gifting). You can send your own custom designed food to other players who also use this mod.
(Hopefully no one makes spicy milk tea or pineapple pizza… haha.)
5. Add a communal dining mechanism. Players select any building that allows group dining to open the communal dining option. By default, all colonists with automatic activities will automatiy gather for meals at 6:00 and 18:00. Satiated colonists and those without action points will not come, and slaves will come dependir permission. Experience the feeling of home; recommended for use with the Rimtalk mod.
6. Immersive Brewing & More
Many other immersive buildings (fermentation, brewing, etc.) are included – explore them yourself! This mod focuses on cooking content only; quest/event expansions will be added in future modules. Stay tuned.

这将是环世界创意工坊最具开创性的新烹饪扩展模组,拥有了它你几乎可以舍去绝大部分烹饪模组扩展,我从头规划了食物应该如何做的流程,并且我成功的让玩家可以设计出自己的专属食谱。想象一下,我们不必为模组作者的规定死的配方为发愁。玩家可以自己设置食品的名称,食品的描述,食品的味道,食品的buff加成,食品的贴图,食品加工手法。并且我联动了大量的模组,包括卫生,冰箱,众多种族模组。足以实现玩家想实现绝大多数功能。堪比一个dlc。
本模组理论上支持中途加入和CE,中途移除请保存存档后尝试。
模组功能:
1.添加了水力机制,并不是卫生模组里的那种,现在玩家出生在水源地附近会有巨大的优势,制作本模组的食物需要用到水,开局请尽快研究水力科技,建筑水井和水桶。不然就只能吃生食了。(本模组的水和卫生模组的水是10比1互通,可以使用卫生的管道)
2.味道机制:每一种食材都有专属的味道,凉拌烹饪烧烤都会使每一种味道发生变化,每个殖民者都有自己喜欢的口味,具体看味道前置模组的描述。
3.添加了一个模因,十种饮食文化戒律,一个厨师职位(经济类的),一个宴会桌建筑,可以极大幅度带你体会中式的饮食文化。
4.添加了超大量模组食谱,配合菜篮子工程本体的5种大类食材,带你体会沉浸式做饭体验。添加了一种调味品机制,玩家可以通过设定调剂品设置,让殖民者自动往饭里加调味品获得各种状态buff或加成。添加一个事件链,玩家可以完成一系列事件解锁厨神工作台来进行自定义食谱,注意由于本模组联动了聊天室红包模组,你可以给同样打了本模组的玩家赠送你自己设计的自定义食品。(希望没有人做辣味的奶茶和菠萝味的披萨哈哈)
5.添加一种共餐机制,玩家选择任何一张可以多人吃饭的建筑,打开共餐选项,默认6点和18点所有自动活动的殖民者都会自动一起吃饭,吃饱的和没有行动力的不会来,奴隶看玩家是否允许。带你体验家的感觉,建议跟Rimtalk模组一起使用。
6.本模组还添加了各种沉浸式酿造等建筑,具体内容请玩家自行摸索,本模组只是添加了烹饪内容,事件类内容由未来后续模组扩展添加,敬请期待。有bug请在贴吧,评论区,小黑盒反馈。
