This is a recreation of a real ship, the M/S Otava, everything has been recreated from pictures I took of it. (yes I went on the ship just so I can make it in game)
M/S Otava is a ferry that operates in the eastern Gulf of Finland from the Kuusinen port in Kotka to Kuutsalo, Haapasaari, Kaunissaari and Kirkkonmaa.
Otava was built by the Uudenkaupungin Työvene Oy shipyard and was completed in 2014. The vessel is 34.9 m long, 9.0 m wide and has a draft of 2.4 m for ferry traffic. It can carry a total of 132 passengers and crew members, as well as a truck or 8 cars. The vessel's diesel-electric propulsion consists of three Scania V8 diesel generators, each producing 425 kW of power, and two propeller engines, each producing 560 kW of power. The maximum speed is stated to be 12 knots, but only 5 knots in 4-meter waves. Otava is designed as a multi-purpose vessel that can also be used for oil spill response tasks and that operates without difficulty in winter conditions even in 30 cm thick ice.
