This is model of M-28 Skytruck PT/GC advanced airplane.
Advanced features
- Autopilot featuring Altitude, Heading and Approach mode
- Approach mode enabling automatic approach to any airport or supported manual approach in any visibility conditions with automatic go-around possibility
- GPS navigation including tracks, distances to waypoint and location display with possibility to operate on whole map in any visibility conditions
- Refuelling and de-tanking with many options including multiple fuel tanks
- Too low/flaps and autopilot disconnect aural alerts
- One engine inperative take-off and landings capability (with caution xD)
Basics manual:
WSAD to operate ailerons and elevator
UP/DOWN arrows for throttle
Flaps: 15° for takeoff, full for landing. Change it on the roof panel in the cockpit
Space for brakes (ON/OFF)
Diesel fuel ONLY
1 - open/close cabin doors
2 - open/close cargo door
Navigation manual:
In the cockpit on the right panel there are track and distance indicators. It refers to the distance from you to the waypoint coordinates you set in metres. Track is measured from 0° to 360° showing you the track you are on which means that if direct heading from you to the waypoint is 90° then you are on track 270°.
Autopilot manual:
AP ALT mode holds an altitude that you had when you’ve pressed the buton.
ALT from keypad enables preferred altitude setting from keyboard below, in feet. It requires AP ALT turned ON to work.
AP HDG takes desired heading from keyboard below from 0° to 360° and will try to hold it.
AP Approach mode enables automatic approach to any airport with full landing phase in LIGHT WIND CONDITIONS ONLY (blue scale on map). It requires all AP buttons ON to work properly. In windy conditions disconnect all autopilot modes in last phase of approach and land maually. (RNP approach manual is mandatory knowledge to make it work as intended).
Flare mode enables automatic landing and will engage in close proximity to runway treshold or any other target set performing landing. You must only set brakes after landing and disconnect AP. Throttle settings above 0.6 disconnects flare mode. Do NOT allow it to engage in windy conditions by disabling AP before landing.
RNP manual approach or auto land:
After entering coordinates you have to enter runway track, it works as explained in navigation maual, tracks in this game can be 0°, 45°, 90° etc., nothing in between. However you can set it different if you wish and approach will be from another angle. Runway elevation is in metres and must be measured and set correctly for precise approach however can be inaccurate for better visibility conditions with Autopilot APP mode disabled in the last stage of approach (be aware that display shows altitude in feet). Glidepath angle is how steep you want your approach to be, we recommend using 6°. On the left to the primary diplay you have glideslope indicator which after proper settings indicate if you are too high or too low on approach and localiser indicator which shows if you are to the left or to the right of track you’ve set. Recommended thrust for AP approach around 0.43. Refer to the autopilot manual for automatic approach.
Other:
To perform auto go around when AP APP mode ON, during approach insert your runway HEADING and go around altitude, and then whenever needed simply disconnect AP APP and the plane will perform automatic go-around.
Airplane has main and auxiliary fuel tanks. Aux fuel is being pumped to the main when MASTER is ON. You can refuel via nose hose with MASTER ON to fill all the tanks and de-tank from hose inside passenger compartment on the roof side with MASTER ON if you want to pump out from all tanks. When MASTER is OFF only main fuel tank will be affected in both scenarios.
Flee mode is intended to work only when necessary, uses to much fuel. Should not be used with any Autopilot ON.
