Required Mod: Paniel the Automata must be installed.
Recommended Environment: For stable gameplay, all DLCs (Biotech, Anomaly, Ideology, Royalty) are highly recommended.
1. Unique Units
SN-666 'Grace: The Blessed Automaton'
A religious specialist unit designed to propagate the doctrines of the Machine God.
Recruitment: Forced join event triggers when the colony has 5+ non-Paniel settlers and a colony wealth of 100,000+.
Features:
Grace's Orthodoxy: Immediately founds a unique Ideoligion and assumes the 'Moral Guide' role upon joining.
Auto-Proselytize: Automatically converts surrounding settlers. This behavior can be toggled via 'Suppression' research.
Ascension Protocol: Grants 'Ascension' hediffs to non-Paniel settlers. At 100% progress, the target is completely converted into a Paniel.
Tactical Power: Overloads internal systems to buff nearby allies' movement and aiming speed by 50% for 30 seconds. ⚠️ Penalty: Enters 'System Reboot' (incapacitated) for a duration after the effect ends.
SN-777 'Sana: The Cube Child'
A specialized Paniel designed to resonate with the Anomaly Golden Cube.
Interaction: Becomes active after 5 Golden Cube studies. Periodically forces random settlers into 'Play' interactions (Temptation).
Fan Club Gimmick: Settlers who play with Sana join her 'Fan Club'. If Sana enters a mental break (Crying), all Fan Club members enter a Berserk state.
Branching Fate: Upon completing research, you may destroy the Cube to either:
[Liberation]: Remove all work incapabilities and delete the Fan Club list.
[Fusion]: Acquire 'Golden Touch' (Iron to Gold alchemy) and the ability to absorb other Anomaly Cubes.
2. Precision Manufacturing
Provides an advanced customization process beyond standard Automaton production.
Body Transplantation: Uses a human base to inherit physical capabilities and genes as foundational data.
Trait Customization: Inject 'Trait Orbs' during the process to determine the Paniel's personality.
Quality Assurance: Utilizing an AI Persona Core guarantees a Legendary quality outcome.
3. New Faction: Awakened Gears
A resistance faction of Paniels who have escaped PnL Industry’s control.
Technology (Junkpunk): Utilizes crude but lethal armaments crafted from salvaged scrap instead of precision components.
Unlocking Tech: You must obtain and analyze 'Junkpunk Manuals' by defeating 'Command Refusers' (Human Scientists) or trading with Scrap Collectors.
Resource Cycling: Deconstruct Industrial-tier or higher equipment to extract 'Salvaged Components', which can be refined into standard components.
4. Special Modules & Gear
New modules to overcome the hardware limitations of the Paniel line.
Survival Modules: Toughness (50% damage reduction), Natural Healing (passive injury repair), Anti-Explosion (prevents self-destruction on death).
Functional Modules: Learning Unlock (enables XP gain), Low-shield Module, HideAndSeek (Invisibility) Module.
Void Walker Suit: High-tier protective gear for extreme environments and vacuum conditions.
5. Infrastructure
Maintenance Vat: An automated medical bed that automatically houses and repairs injured Paniels.
Regeneration Assistant: An expansion for the Maintenance Vat. Consumes 'Regeneration Fluid' to completely regrow missing body parts.
High-frequency Furnace: A high-efficiency facility for mass-producing PnL Alloys and precision components.
6. Research Trees
Adds 6 new research tabs to the Hidden Protocol.
Junkpunk: Manual workstations and scrap-based weaponry.
Chemical Engineering: Memory erasers and mental stabilization drugs.
Mechanoids: Three PnL-exclusive utility Automatons (Hauling, Cleaning, Mining).
Overdrive: Control protocols to maximize mechanoid work speed.
Modification (Standard/Precision): Tier 1 enhancements and high-end functional modules.
Space Engineering: Archotech-tier equipment and Void Walker series.
Compatibility & Requirements
Paniel the Automata is a mandatory prerequisite.
Compatible with existing saves, but a new save is recommended to properly generate the new faction.
