I felt the base start was way too hard. Three people, a knife, and a bow with no ammo. Usually right off the bat I get killed by banditos with guns. So I decided to try and make it easier. The original intent for so much wood was to build in the desert, I found that living in the desert is almost impossible because with no air conditioning technology, you die to heat stroke, better stay near a lake.
Now this may be a bit easy, I'd recommend changing it to your liking and even uploading your own reiendtion. I'd like a little bit of credit if you only change a few things.
I use this for starting out, building some nice frontier homes, usually 6x6 with a bed, end table, and dresser. A saloon with a kitchen, some games, tables, and of course a drinking booth. In the kitchen there's a nice brewery, butchering table, and a stove. I also build a little barn that holds the horses, with more room for even more animals. But that's just how I play, play it anyway you want.
