Low-Tech Ship pack for SOS2
IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE THIS SUBMOD WITH THE GITHUB BUILDS OF SOS2, It will work with the steam version, however on steam THE GRAND BATTLESHIP WILL NOT SPAWN CORRECTLY, you have been warned.

A ship pack for the Save our Ship 2 mod, that includes 27 ships of varying sizes, from tiny space-carrier deployed fighters to battleships spanning entire maps, which will be able to spawn as enemy ships. (And 10 can now be used as starting ships. + theres 8 blueprints)
This pack was made with a technological limit of no shields, no advanced weapons (anything other then cannons and torpedoes) although there are at least three (3) ships with at least one (1) more advanced weapon. And also no engines besides rockets*
I originally started working on these for a run i did a while back, also following the restrictions mentioned above, and therefore some of the ships (especially some of the smaller ones) are balanced around this, aka if you build a ship normally, most of them are a pretty easy fight, but some will still prove to be a challenge.
These are supposed to be old/less advanced ships, maybe from a less advanced world, maybe restored from space scrapyards by desperate pirates, maybe they were used in a now ancient galactic war, maybe they were built by outlanders on the very rimworld they orbit around.
