BACKGROUND
The ALTA Tug70 is a 15 m azimuth stern drive pusher tugboat designed specifically for efficient barge handling and pushing operations. Powered by two large marine GTC engines, it can reach speeds of up to 30 knots, offering a strong balance of power and maneuverability. The rear deck is equipped with a heavy-duty towing winch, a RAT crane, and three UniCon cargo slots for added versatility. Its modern wheelhouse provides excellent visibility and control, while the lower deck houses a crew living area with a bunkroom and an infirmary, making the Tug70 a compact yet capable workhorse for industrial marine operations.

INSTRUCTIONS
Turn the engine start key on the right table. The systems are started by buttons.
TIPS
- Limit speed and ensure the trim is set DOWN in extreme weather conditions.
- When towing heavy loads, keep the speed to ~6-8 knots.
