278-A "Twilight Rain"

278-A "Twilight Rain"
【The English version has been released!】
Introduction
The 278-A "Twilight Rain" Dreadnought Submarine was originally part of the Abyss Exploration Fleet established by Roscosmos and CNSA, the aerospace agencies of Earth. Boasting formidable firepower, robust armor and exceptional maneuverability, the submarine is equipped with the shipborne AI system "Muyuqing", which assists in combat, escort missions and on-board security. It can also be outfitted with different modules to adapt to various combat, exploration and escort tasks.
Note: This is a parallel universe version of the "Twilight Rain" created by 233-1 and QAS, so there may be discrepancies from the original.
[Due to the random generation of icebergs around vessels in the game, the risk of collision caused by icebergs spawning near the submarine is relatively high in maps with dense iceberg clusters. It is recommended to operate this submarine in areas with a low probability of iceberg generation, and a solution is currently being sought.]
Submarine Historical Background
Before the Europa government severed ties with Earth, the "Twilight Rain" drove forward humanity's research on the relic technology of Europa with its outstanding performance and safeguarded countless fleets navigating the perilous oceans of Europa. However, after Europa lost contact with Earth, the Europa Alliance continuously suppressed and cut off supplies to the outposts and fleets loyal to the old Earth, leaving the original Abyss Exploration Fleet unable to maintain its large scale. The fleet had to be disbanded, and its vessels were sold to secure supplies and trade with the Alliance for basic survival. The mighty "Twilight Rain" also fell victim to acquisition by the Europa Alliance. For unknown reasons, however, it was later put up for sale on the submarine market by the Alliance.
Rumors have it that the reason the "Twilight Rain" was listed for sale after being acquired by the Alliance is that its shipborne AI disapproved of the Alliance's act of kicking the old Earth loyalists while they were down. It barred all Alliance personnel from operating the submarine or accessing its data, even threatening to fire the on-board defense cannons and trigger the submarine's self-destruction system. Seeing the submarine as a tasteless yet pity-to-abandon liability, the Alliance only obtained limited parameter details through external scanning, dismantled its original high-destructive torpedoes, and then put it up for sale with restricted purchasing eligibility to squeeze the last bit of value out of the vessel.
The Other "Twilight Rain"
The following is a supplement to the background details of this submarine and the sunken version of the "Twilight Rain" created by 233-1 and QAS.
Transcript of a routine work report conversation among the Alliance senior leadership:
"Sir, according to accounts from the very few survivors who made it back to the outposts, the perpetrator behind the recent spate of mysterious submarine disappearances is a massive dreadnought submarine. It moves unpredictably in the waterways and annihilates all our passing submarines without discrimination."
"My time is precious, adjutant. This is nothing more than a motley warship cobbled together by separatist terrorists who seized a large shipyard. Anything else to report?"
"Also, we found that the hull number, appearance, turret layout, and number of engine nozzles of the dreadnought described by the survivors are highly similar to the 278-A 'Twilight Rain' we know, with only minor differences—except that this one is rust-eaten. What's more, some survivors stated that it even sank separatist submarines."
"Interesting... Instruct the Waterway Authority to issue a navigation notice, and then organize a fleet for further reconnaissance."
The other "Twilight Rain" is a colossal dreadnought submarine recently spotted by the Alliance in Europa's waterways. Dr. Eff Gran, who is permanently stationed near the Eye of Europa, speculates that based on the signals of unknown extraterrestrial devices detected by beacon stations along its navigation trail, this "Twilight Rain" likely reached the Eye of Europa and made contact with extraterrestrial relics in its own dimension, only to encounter an accident and be transported to this plane of existence. Based on this, Dr. Gran infers that this wandering giant submarine is none other than the "Twilight Rain".

"Miss 暮雨晴 may be gentle and lovely, but she never shows mercy to her enemies."— A crew member of the Original Abyss Exploration Fleet.
Miss 暮雨晴 is the humanoid AI unit of the 287-A “Twilight Rain”. She is responsible for internal patrols, security, and monitoring and reporting the vessel’s status. She is equipped with the standard-issue submachine gun for humanoid units from the Original Abyss Exploration Fleet and can protect key assets within the submarine.
