It's long range and endurance can also be used, to let the missile loiter until a suitable target is found.

The cruise missiles can be controlled via NFT. Use AP bit (8) to switch between the following modes:
- MAN (user has manual control over missile X- and Y-axis, fire command (trigger/5) is necessary, to lock target)
- SEMI (user has control over X-axis, fire command (trigger/5) is necessary, to lock target)
- AUTO (user has no control, but can lock target early with fire command (trigger/5), lockon occurs when in target range)
The NFT interface can also be used to send new target coordinates.
