General Informations
The 2107 was one of the longest-produced passenger cars in automotive history. Production began in 1982 and ended in Russia 30 years later, in 2012 (the last car rolled off the IzhAvto assembly line on April 17, 2012). The reason for the end of production was, among other things, its outdated design, which failed to meet current safety requirements. The 2107 was succeeded by the new Granta city sedan. Assembly of the 2107 continued for another two years in Egypt.
