When the End came, the Empire couldn't have known the true horrors it would bring. Indeed, when the God Empress accepted the Covenant with the End, the enlightened Master Psionocrats warned her and pleaded with her. They prophesied, "There will be a reckoning... 50 years from now... Prepare yourselves, for a most grisly fate will afflict us all!". And yet, the Covenant was established.
The Empire entered into an unprecedented Golden Age of Prosperity for the next 50 years, yet warning signs abounded about the Coming of the End. Strange disappearances, scientists and religious leaders going mad and committing suicide or going missing, and even the death of the heir to the God Empress in a most horrendous manner. And yet, the God Empress did nothing.
Now, it has arrived. With almost the entire population of your species having been violently consumed by the End, and the God-Empress declared missing (presumed dead), you and some of your crew are the lucky ones, spared from the violent consumption by the End. Unfortunately, most of your fellow crew were collected by the End. You and the survivors must make it to planet-fall and survive at all costs. Re-establish contact with the survivors of the Empire and prepare yourself for the coming End.
For the lore aspect of this scenario, please use the Orassan race mod. I would also encourage using as many other mods you feel would help flesh out this scenario for the role playing aspect. I personally use the Aliens v. Predators mod, other race mods, and farming/cybernetics/etc. Also, since it starts you as a "New Tribe", use EdB Prepare Carefully or similar mods to ensure your starting pawns are Orassan.
