Both new games and existing saves will receive an invitation letter. Accepting it will trigger an endgame quest similar to the "Archonexus," where you abandon your current colony and travel to the sky island with 7 colonists and some items. You start with only a 40x40 hanging stone foundation in the center to develop, with no soil. On the far right is the raider platform, where enemy raids will spawn. The connecting bridge in the middle can be deconstructed, but a part of it must remain connected to the raider platform. Otherwise, the platform will collapse after 6 hours (yes, this is to prevent you from cheesing raids by removing the bridge √).[/b] [img]https://i.imgur.com/QAMkxQB.png[/img] [b]The sky island was designed without a specific goal in mind, to give imaginative players a customizable experience. You can modify your island as you please. The research tree includes soil, vegetation, and shallow water, so you won't have to worry about farming later on. Tier 2 and Tier 3 soils have been added. They are expensive and require high-tech research, but offer 200% and 400% fertility respectively, and require no light or temperature. You will start with a Material Extractor, which can produce essential early-game resources through repeated work. By researching technology and building Alpha and Beta pillars, you can expand the extractor's output. Fishing is also a feature. It's a sea of clouds, so of course you can fish. However, you'll be catching more than just fish. An enemy wave will appear after 2 hours, followed by another every 6 hours. If you are attacking from a sky island, enemy reinforcements will spawn directly on your island. Each vassal provides taxes and support every 7 days. What you receive depends on how you define its role. Through culture selection, you can choose any faction you've encountered, even mod factions like the Ratkin Faction, to be your vassal's culture. Basic functions are complete, but features like starship fleet construction, mechanoid army fabrication, and archotech device creation are not yet implemented. The ability for the Emperor, Chancellor, and High Lords to bestow the title of Duke on any pawn. Random quests requesting the player to send an envoy to a friendly colony to bestow a title upon an NPC (guess if there will be an infestation waiting?). An endgame quest for the sky island.
