Iterator

The Iterator

About

The Iterator was previously a tier two prisoner transport used for moving criminals and political prisoners between outposts and facilities. The submarine has since been refurbished for cargo transport and refitted to make the small crew feel more comfortable in travel.

Features

The submarine's battery consists of three turret hardpoints, two located either side of the bow and another defending the stern. The submarine is also equipped with discharge coils to ward off unwanted visitors. The forward most section of the bow is heavily armored and can survive multiple ice spike and terrain collisions. Be on alert for creatures approaching from the upper stern, as it remains a weak spot unoccupied by guns.

The Iterator comes furnished with plentiful cargo space, a forward airlock, an armory, security office, crew lounge, a medbay, captains personal office and a spacious bridge.

The "Martyrdom" button located on the bridge will initiate a self destruct sequence. This button is only accessible to the holder of the captain's id card. Detonation starts after 30 seconds so be careful not to press it on accident!

Two navigation terminals on the bridge that can be switched by pressing the Activate Navigation button in the terminal.

An alarm system can be toggled using alarm terminals located around the ship.

Light switches are located beside doors that toggle the lights in that room.

A backup engine can be toggled in the navigation terminal, only one engine can operate at a time.

This sub is on the heavier side of performance, just keep that in mind.

As always, this submarine may have an issue or two that I haven't noticed while building it, so I strongly encourage comments and criticism about anything I can improve, I intend to update this sub from time to time with improvements until I run out of ideas.
