A "simple" multiple Waypoints Autopilot, with nearly unlimited storage for waypoints. (Due to how LUA is, you could easily have over 10,000 waypoints.)
How To Use:
- Connect all nodes from controller (controller will say what goes where)
- After you spawn craft, and input a waypoint (X&Y Cord, preferably thru a large keyboard), press a button (Push preferred, toggle will work) to add said waypoint to the queue.
- When "Enable Autopilot System" and at least one (1) waypoint has been entered (and submitted via the "Add Waypoint" input; system will override steering input with a simple function to then steer to your waypoint.
- When near waypoint (default is within 50m), the controller will automatically start navigation to the next waypoint entered. When at final waypoint, controller will either reset navigation to first waypoint (Orbit Mode), or will turn off (Enabling "At Location" output, which can be used to send a signal to turn off engines; engine turning off microcontroller not included)
- After arrival, to reset system just turn it off and then turn it on when your ready. If Orbit Mode is disabled upon reaching final waypoint, the waypoints in memory are deleted, starting fresh for your next voyage.
Features:
- Storage For Multiple, nearly unlimited* Waypoints
- Orbit Mode (Circle a single waypoint, or restart navigation upon arrival)
- Distance output, saying how far you have left on your route
- Simple to install/use system
- Free tech support (I will respond to comments as soon as I am able, and if there is a problem I will release a patch)
*No cap to waypoint storage was reached in testing
