Designed for long-duration patrols, the Borrelly was built around an experimental high performance reactor. The new technology proved unreliable and dangerous at high output, leading to it being stripped out and leaving the reactor limited to low output only. A high-capacity battery array has been installed, along with a power distribution system feeding the main grid. Smart management and distribution of power is key to making the best use of this ship.
