Overview:
The E/1911 “Dauntless” marked the Empire of Antares’ first successful deployment of armoured landcraft in combat, intended primarily for use in trench-clearing operations. Featuring a fixed layout of three machine guns, it was designed to saturate enemy lines with suppressive fire while accompanying infantry through shell-blasted terrain.

With a crew of four and a complex yet smooth-running suspension system, the E/1911 prioritised manoeuvrability over armour, unlike the heavier Cetan Iron Beetle. This made it more agile but far more vulnerable in sustained assaults, leading Antarean doctrine to favour quick strikes over prolonged sieges.

Despite teething issues in early deployments (notably during the Crescent Valley push), the “Dauntless” would remain in frontline service until 1919 in various modified forms.
