SV101 'Manatee' SAR Compound helicopter
The SV101 is a semi-amphibious (Meaning it can float on the waters surface under beneficial weather conditions, but must remain under some power to keep the doors above the waterline), designed for high-speed flight, using a copound helicopter/aircraft arrangement using a pusher ducted fan on the tail.
Instructions:
- Takeoff:
1) Open the pilots side door and winch in the harness to ensure it is stowed safely within the aircraft. you can control the winch and deployment arm of the winch using controls on both the harness and instrument panel on the wing.
2) Hold s to ensure collective is set to 0
3) Turn the engine key and set throttle to full
4) Wait for rotor rps to = 45
5) Increase collective with W
6) Use keys 2 & 3 toi adjust the forward thrust of the rear ducted fan - Autopilot sys:
The autopilot is programmed to automatically transition its controls between flying the aircraft like a helicopter to like a plane, all you have to do is input the desired coordinate target or altitude using the keypads to the left of the pilot and use the adjacent instrument panel to select which factors are being handled by the autopilot
