[*] [b]Automatic deployment[/b] When the connector is released, the system measures the distance to the ground and stores that value. The winch then begins reeling out automatically. [*] [b]Ground-aware stopping[/b] As the rope deploys, the system continuously monitors the rope length. Once the rope length reaches the previously measured ground distance, the winch stops automatically. This prevents over-deployment and ground collision. [*] [b]Automatic retrieval[/b] When the connector is reattached, the winch immediately begins reeling in the rope. [*] [b]Reset and repeat[/b] Disconnecting again after retrieval resets the system, allowing the deployment cycle to be repeated as many times as needed. [/list]
