I always thought it was a little counter-intuitive that a bridge could hold up a wall and a roof but not a research bench or art bench.
This mod is super simple and just adds the ability to place medium-weight objects (like workbenches) on bridges.
It still will not support heavy objects but this feels a bit more natural to me.
Were it not for my good friend MiniNinjer, this mod may have been lost to history, forever stuck in an outdated version of the game. We are forever grateful to you.
