The Requiem Revolver is built for that exact moment. It’s a heavy, overpowered sidearm chambered in 12.7x55mm, designed with very little concern for restraint or long-term consequences. It hits hard, kicks harder, and doesn’t leave much behind when it works.
It’s not subtle, and it’s not meant to be. If you’re using this, something has already gone wrong.
Ammunition Types
12.7x55mm Ball Round
Standard issue, if you can call something like this standard. It does exactly what you expect, putting a large, fast piece of metal through whatever you’re aiming at. It’s reliable, consistent, and brutal in a very straightforward way.
Most things don’t get back up after one or two shots. If they do, they won’t be in any shape to keep fighting.
12.7x55mm Depleted Uranium Round
This is for when you stop caring about what’s behind your target. The round is dense enough to go through armor, walls, and whatever else happens to be in the way. It doesn’t slow down much, and it doesn’t leave clean wounds.
People hit with it don’t bleed out so much as fall apart. It’s effective, but messy, and it has a habit of making problems worse if you’re not careful about where you fire it.
12.7x55mm High Explosive Round
This one trades precision for certainty. On impact, it detonates and turns whatever it hits into something unrecognizable. It’s good for groups, tight spaces, or anything you don’t want to deal with twice.
Using it indoors is a gamble. Sometimes it solves the problem. Sometimes it just creates a bigger one.
12.7x55mm Husk Round
This round isn’t about immediate damage. It’s about what happens after. The payload carries a concentrated husk infection, and once it’s in, it doesn’t take long for things to go bad.
Targets don’t just die. They change. Slowly at first, then all at once. If you’re not paying attention, you won’t just be dealing with one enemy anymore.
12.7x55mm Anomaly Round (Gravity Well)
This one shouldn’t exist, but it does. On impact, it creates a localized gravitational distortion that pulls everything nearby inward. It doesn’t look dramatic at first, just a sudden collapse, but whatever gets caught in it doesn’t come out the same.
It’s effective in a way that’s hard to describe and harder to control. You use it when you don’t really care what happens to the area around your target. DO NOT USE INDOORS IF YOU PRIORITIZE THE LIFE OF YOU, YOUR CREW OR YOUR SUBMERSIBLE
The Requiem Revolver isn’t practical. It’s heavy, loud, and unforgiving.
But if something needs to die, and you need to be sure it stays that way, it’ll do the job.
