"This ironclad was created to address a priority issue in The Dominion fleet: Dexterity. The fleet had already made a more then fine dossier of heavily armored ironclads and massive supply ships, but lacked any sort of legitimate, practical fast attack craft. Several ships were proposed, and in the end the Rf.8 "Angriffsschiff" won out over the other designs in part due to it's low cost high yield ratio (Rf.8 is short for Rumpf.8 or Hull.8, and Angriffsschiff meaning "Attack Ship"). A highly versatile yet light design allowed it to reach relatively quick speeds without sacrificing any potential and despite it's engine model being outdated during the time of it's construction, the Rf.8 would continue to serve in The Dominion in every possible role for a ship it's size. Being refitted hundreds of times into thousands of different configurations to fit the needs of it's inventors. The Rf.8 is widely regarded as one of the finest patrol boats to be designed interwar.."

DESCRIPTION:
This steam ship was made as a sort of experiment on My part, but turned out being a ship I ended up really enjoying and decided to include it into the ever expanding list of Dominion Steam Vehicles. Powered by 2 small 4 bladed paddles, pushed by a steam turbine powering 4 medium generators, this mini-ironclad can get relatively fast for it's configuration, being a maximum of 4.28 knots.
There will be further variations of this specific ship released, however I wanted to release a more blank slate version for people to enjoy as a sort of "framework" to build on or adapt to at your own liking. To start it simply press the firebox switch on the bottom left of the cabin, It has a microcontrolled toggle so just press it once. After a few seconds you'll hear the turbine kick on and see the water gauge begin to drop. Once the gauge hits around 0.02 water, you're good to go! This means the boiler is producing steam at nearly the same rate it's being refilled and you don't have to worry about losing power. Enjoy!
