To enable valve controls from the pilot house, toggle the key to the left of the helm, then go to engineering and toggle "Auto-engineer" switch
Startup Procedure
Go to Engineering, enable all breakers on generator switchboard. Open generator master valve for generator to run
Go to boiler room. Enable all pumps on switchboard. Open fuel valves next to fuel tanks. Open furnace fuel valve. Set furnace air valve to 0.2+
Ignite the furnace
Wait for temperature to build up in both boilers
Set furnace air valve so boiler temperature stays near 105 С
To run the engine open engine master valve on the ceiling of engineering. To actually control your speed use two valves next to engine. The ship is direct-drive, so to run in reverse you need to close forward valves. To stop the engine just open all valves and let the steam circulate freely. After that you may close master valve to cut the engine from steam supply.
