Hinaushärkä is a heavy transport sub, featuring large aft cargo hold, power hungry engine and decent guns.
It’s main ammo store is located outside main hull, requiring careful planning and ammo management.
Although powerful in many areas, Hinaushärkä lacks some features, many crews are accustomed to, mainly batteries and discharge coils. This coupled with the big weakness, the external ammo store creates, can make run ins with monsters quite dangerous. Beware of mudraptors.
Special features:
- main ammo store is outside the sub: to be used when stationary; access doors are a major, unprotected weak point
- "dual mode" front gun: switchable between flak cannon and two chainguns; chainguns share one ammo box and will chew it rapidly
- three other turrets share two ammo loaders
Recommended crew:
- manageable with 4 experienced players
- better with bigger crew
Intended use:
- campaign
- made as a start-to-finish sub, for a crew that really doesn't like swapping subs mid campaign
