This amphibious rescue plane is a small twin jet powered amphibious craft. It boasts an impressive STOL capability, and can cruise over 300 km (calculated)
The aircraft can be used on the water in calm conditions, but will require a lot of space to get airborne from the water. I recommend ~60% flap angle for water take offs.
In high wind conditions, this seaplane should be able to handle some large waves, and can take off very quickly
The engines are FADEC controlled, requiring only single switch and single lever operation. The aircraft is relatively stable, but might require small amounts of trim depending on throttle position.
The flight assist and auto pilots make the aircraft easy to fly, and the improved FMS can take in 6 waypoints.
Stall Speed is approximately 55 kts, recommended economic cruise speed is ~150kts, with a top speed of ~280kts
This plane will fly at least 160 km at full throttle
The lifting capacity is also impressive. I have fitted a modified version of the default rescue boat under the wing, and dropped it from a hardpoint.
The plane also features 4 parachutes for dropping a rescue team, and flare lauchers to illuminate the rescue area from above.
