Gonthabu is a retrofitted Hansa-class transport originally built for civilian cargo before acquisition under Coalition auxiliary requisition protocols. Upgunned and reinforced to combine heavy forward firepower with expanded cargo, it is a preferred asset for forcing restricted corridors and sustaining deliveries to beleaguered outposts. However, performance relies on supercapacitor overcharging and a reactor stripped of safety overrides, leaving a negligible margin for error during a crisis.

Recommended Crew Size: 6-10
Recommended Crew Experience: Intermediate
Mobility:
Top Speed: 21 km/h
Ascent: -19km/h
Ascent with flooded Cargo Bay: 2.9km/h (descending)
Descent: 11.4 km/h
Descent with flooded Cargo Bay: 17.9km/h
Default Armaments:
1x Railgun (Lower Bow), toggleable between two loaders by lever on command room periscope
1x Dual-Coilgun (Upper Bow)
1x Pulse Laser (Upper Rear)
1x Chaingun (Lower Rear)
1x Depth Charge Tube, alternating dual loaders
1x Electrical Discharge Coil
Ammo Storage Capacity: 30 Boxes, 12 Railgun Shells.
Powergrid notes:
Reactor Output: 5700 kw
Junction Boxes are organized into two redundant lines, A and B, color coded Red and Blue. Restoring all JBs of one color and Main JB in Reactor Room will restore power to the entire ship.
Two batteries with a total capacity of 4000kw acting as uninterruptible power supply, automatically activate when reactor power output drops. Can be charged via upper airlock by docked structures and ships.
Main Features:
- Large floodable Cargo Bay controlled by the Nav. Terminal
Can be used for crash diving and scooping up dead monsters with upward momentum
- Cargo Elevator that can be sent between lower aft exterior hull and engineering
Command Room:
Status indicators for critical onboard systems
- Reactor (RCTR)
- Main JB (MAIN)
- Line A JB (LINA)
- Line B JB (LINB)
- Engine (ENGN)
- O2 Generator (OXYG)
- Ballast Pumps (PMPB/ PMPC)
Control Panel for toggling various onboard systems
- Lights (Top-left, LGTS)
- Status monitors and charging docks (Top-mid, AUXS)
- Dive lockers and oxygen shelves (Top-right, DIVE)
- Fabricator and Deconstructor (Bot.-left, WORK)
- Medical Fabricator and Research Station (Bot.-mid, MFAB)
- Oxygen Generator (Bot.-right, OXYG)
Recommended Cruise Settings for power saving: LGTS and OXYG ON, rest OFF.
WARNING: Toggling too many systems OFF and performing a hard stop in quick succession will damage your Junction Boxes when power supply is high!
Large Display for current fuel%, current power output and current load.
Reactor Meltdown indicator display with a big red reactor scram button.
Display featuring current location name, biome name, velocity Y, velocity X and current depth.
Nav. Terminal with three functions
- Open/Close Cargo Bay
- Launch Depth Charge
- Toggle Auto Discharge Coil
Surveillance Center integrated into top right of Nav. Terminal for switching between three external searchlights.
Four displays showing charge % of supercapacitors with levers for toggling between 50% and 90% recharge rate.
Three status indicators for Depth Charge Loader 1 and 2 (DCL1, DCL2) and the status of automatic discharge coil (AEDC) - red: unloaded/disarmed, green: loaded/armed.
Periscope for operating the Railgun with the aforementioned lever to switch loaders.
