This submarine was originally designed to meet the construction and logistics needs of outposts built in the deep oceans of Europa. However, after Europa lost contact with the outside world, governments gradually lost interest in developing its deep ocean regions, leaving only a small number of prototype vessels in existence today. While the Midpoint-class does not excel in firepower, survivability, or maneuverability, these capabilities are more than sufficient to support its unparalleled cargo-carrying capacity, enabling it to transport large volumes of goods with ease even in the deepest oceanic trenches of Europa.
