Advanced Short Range "Apex"(ASRAPEX) SRAAM(Gimballed HOBS+Smokeless variants pack)(Legacy Missile Pack)

Are you tired of turnfighting with Ai or some dude with a prop plane/maneuverable jet and then having to use guns and your aiming is terrible? One of this missile's variants will solve that problem.

GASco presents: The Advanced Short Range "Apex" Short Range Air to Air missile

This comes in a pack of 2 variants: The High-offbore sight close range dogfighting variant (Block 2) and the smokeless motor fast variant (K-Variant) . These 2 missiles offer versatility to your combat capabilities.

History(skip this 3 paragraph essay to see characteristics):

In the late 1980s, missiles such as the R-73 and super maneuverable planes such as the SU-27 were becoming too much of a threat. The US developed the AIM-9X in response to the R-73. At first, GASco vehicles used American sidewinders as there was not enough researchers to start the development of an indigenous advanced short range missile program.

The program finally started when there was enough money and researchers to develop the first GASco missile.
The first GASco missile was made. It was simply called the Apex. This was just a modified and licensed variant of the AIM-9X. However it was less reliable and had many problems. The Apex program was then cancelled.

After more years of research, testing, failures, disasters, the true first and successful GASco missile was made. It was called the ASR(advanced short range)-APEX as it had a new body and electronics. It was much better however developers weren't satisfied with it yet so they created 2 variants:the block 2 which has more maneuverability and larger seeker hence also known as the dogfighting variant and the K variant which had a smokeless motor and alot more reliable which is known as the non-dogfighting head-on/pursuit fast variant.

Recommendation for use

For general use, like in head-ons, chasing or sniping targets

Great for dogfights where you have to use guns instead of missiles(which this variant is made for to replace guns) and works best in wingtip pylons

How to use:

For all variants:
Copy and paste the whole missile, watch out for invisible MCs and boosters. Then connect it to a connector. EHCS is optional but it is best to use this pylon identifier to make it easier to use the missile. Do not select anything from the missile especially the fins and boosters because it might mess the missile up, only the MCs.
Only for the block 2 variant:
Connect the seat composite(purple dot of the seat) to the connector composite(purple doughnut of the connector). Then use the seat input "3" as toggle to uncage the seeker(though you can edit the MC to change it to another number for it to be uncaged). Wait for a tone until it locks on a target by looking around with your mouse for a taret. It is best to use this variant on wingtip pylons due to some reasons where the missile might target yourself instead of your target.
