This mod builds on the original Dalek mod that was written by deathwing, and adds a faction of Daleks to the game, intent on exterminating all life on the Rim.
This faction's roster is as follows: Dalek Drones, Elite Daleks, Dalek Commanders, Special Weapons Daleks, Dalek Supreme, and a Dalek Emperor. There are also human Dalek Troopers that will fight for the faction. The Daleks have a unique body type, which is meant to largely mirror the Dalek anatomy, with most organs being encased in an outer carapace or dome. Daleks are equipped with gunsticks of various varieties, and the Dalek Troopers carry gunstick rifles. Daleks, like boomrats, will deliver an explosive surprise on dying, so keep your distance!
I've tried to keep stats and weapons balanced for Vanilla, but I think this Faction should be regarded as a pretty tough challenge, particularly if you encounter them in the early game - I've not yet tested them extensively in-game, so any feedback will be much appreciated, and I can further tweak the stats of the weapons and so on.
You will need erdelf's Humanoid Alien Races 2.0 mod for this mod to work, but it should otherwise be compatible with all other mods, as well as Vanilla Rimworld.
Credit is due for the Dalek Trooper Armour and Weapons, which are borrowed from Lelbaro's SectorVII mod, and for the original Dalek designs, which were traced from art done by librarian-bot on DeviantArt. My apologies if I have forgotten to credit anything, or have used anything out of turn - if that is the case, please contact me and I will rectify this.
Apologies also for the very messy XML - this is my first attempt at modding Rimworld, and I was kind of making it up as I went along, which shows in my code. I've tried to add in some comments, and will try to tidy it up some more sometime.
