Features

  • Boost mode: increases the power of the Engine at the cost of increased power draw and fast condition deterioration
  • Power Saving Mode: Disables Weapon Recharge, Battery recharge and Crafting Stations
  • One of the batteries recharges half as fast
  • Ballast doubles as Storage and with a Docking Hatch that has no airlock, Be careful.
  • Deconstructor, Fabricator, Medical Fabricator, Research Station, one each.
  • Small variation in Hull HP because of the rusty theme (175-200 HP)
  • Flood resistant to a degree thanks to the huge Ballast and Bilge pumps under the Reactor and Engineering
  • Text Displays on the Navigation Terminal for quick status checks eq.: Fuel quantity in the reactor
  • Most wires are locked, but can be added to.

User Manual

  • During Boost, a sudden stop or direction change can fry out the junction boxes. There are some measures to combat it, but there is only so much you can do to prevent it.
  • The bottom Button at the Navigation Terminal is empty, for in game wiring purposes or future additions.
  • The Lever on the Engine is its Killswitch.
  • With either Medical or Oxygen generator compartment flooded, the submarine can still maintain depth.

Flavor

This rusty vessel is a repurposed Bandit submarine with jerry-rigged modifications in places, causing those to broke down more frequently than not. Infamous for the high turnover rate of its staff and neglected maintenance, some hooligans even snuck in to vandalise its entrance. Even so it is still a working submarine despite its appearance.

Notes

AI crew can't use the airlock to go outside the submarine due to the advanced airlock. If there is interest in it i will replace the airlock to fix it. Still, as it is, it shouldn't affect gameplay.
