This is my second vessel to play "Coal and sails" career, she is a small sloop with an auxiliar coal engine.
The ship is set in late XIX century and configured as rescue boat, there are not advanced electronic systems on board and you relay on your own eyes and instinct to perform the missions.
As always I tryed to make the boat easy and fun to play so I have simplified the sails controls as much as possible:
- To raise the sails you have to use the cranks on the mast plust the up/down button. Uncheck the buttons to have the sail correctly blocked.
- You can control the booms with the left/right buttons when you are at the helm, also they can be managed with the port and starboard cranks individually.
With green winds on the map the ship has been able to reach up to 15knots sailing upwards.
On coal she is able to go up to 14 knots. (You have a coal bunker on the bow.)
