1:5th Scale NYK Tomomae Maru

Passengers and cargo all in one elegant bundle

-Taken From PFI WIKI-

Launched in 1924 following her sister's Hikawa Maru success, she would be an oddity among her sister ships, electing for steam power over the diesels of the others. In 1936, she would be converted from her standard configuration (Cargo liner) to a hospital ship to support the Japanese invasion of China in the following years. After the Japanese surrender in 1945, she would be stationed to assist the city of Hiroshima until late September 1946. Afterwards, the ship would be relinquished back to NYK. It would be converted back into a cargo liner, starting runs under lease from the British and American governments from Japan to Alaska to help with reconstruction and ferry soldiers from the recent conflict back home. Unfortunately, on the night of April 10th, 1959, on a trip back to Japan, Contact with the ship was lost, and it is assumed to have sunk with all hands. In 1967, Permafrost Institute units, following reports of a Ghostly vessel situated between rocks and ice, would discover the wreck of NYK Tomomae Maru, a couple of miles East of the Chukchi Sea, Run aground with a gash going from bow to midship, wedged between a cliff face and an ice shelf. Since its discovery, the Permafrost Institute has been working to keep NYK Tomomae Maru's location unknown and restore/maintain NYK Tomomae Maru's structural integrity.

The wake system only works above a specified Speed to keep some semblance of realism

THIS IS A 1:5TH SCALE SHIP. IT IS NOT 1:1
