This mod overhauls most of vanilla handheld weapons and explosives, and adds some of a new content
Overall changes:
- Most weapons and its ammo received ingame sprites and icon updates
- Changed weapons damage values: heavy and full-auto firearms now deal more damage comparing to vanilla to tie with burst-fire firearms
- Changed economics and availability of weapons and its ammo
- Added special underwater muzzle effects for firearms
- Several explosive materials changes
- Added supplemental content
HARPOONS:
- Harpoon guns no longer have a rope attached to it
- Harpoon Coil-Rifle is now faction-exclusive, available after difficulty level 30 from Coalition (0 for item, 40 for a blueprint reputation required), blueprint and item can be found on wrecks
- Added Hardened Harpoon from "Heavy Hitter" Engineer talent and Hunting Harpoon with a rope
- Decreased "Slayer" talent damage boost: from 25 passive/50% in open sea to 10/25%
BASIC FIREARMS (Revolver, SMG, Shotgun):
- Doesn't require recipe to craft default ammo
- Weapon blueprints recipe available from 30% difficulty
- Default ammo doesn't hitscan when fired underwater and has damage penalty
- Added Depleted Fuel Shotgun Shell from "Arms Race" Engineer talent
LIGHT ADVANCED FIREARMS (Machine Pistol, Rifle, Handcannon):
- Machine Pistol is actually as resource-efficient as SMG
- Rifle rate of fire and magazine size has been increased, but it can no longer fire grenades, since the role of inventory-held grenade launcher is designated for a new weapon
- Handcannon will punch you back if you have not enough weapon skill to use it
- Added Physicorium Handcannon and Armor-piercing Rifle ammo
HEAVY ADVANCED FIREARMS (Assault Rifle, Autoshotgun, HMG):
- Replaced HMG with AR recipe in "Warlord" talent, HMG is available only via blueprint in late game (difficulty level 60)
- Autoshotgun is now require "Implacable" talent
- HMG magazine damage pool is greatly increased but it can't be stored in inventory
- Added Armor-piercing and Physicorium Assault Rifle ammo
SECRET FIREARMS (Boomstick, Deadeye Carbine):
- Added blueprints that can be found on wrecks
MISC (FPA, Scrap Cannon):
- No longer available from merchants, replaced with new weapons
- FPA have increased damage and supports Rifle Scope
EXPLOSIVES AND EXPLOSIVE WEAPONS:
- Added tags for explosive materials
- Increased power of Compound N (same as C-4) and IC-4 (double as C-4)
- Grenade Launcher is now craftable, available via blueprint that can be bought or found on wrecks from 30% difficulty
- 40mm grenades now require recipe from default or Compact Grenade Launcher blueprint
- 40mm and hand grenades can be crafted from C-4, Compound N or IC-4
- Changed recipe of 40mm and hand stun grenades
- Increased Incendium Grenade fire power (no pun intended) to tie with Molotov Cocktail
NEW WEAPONS:
Compact Grenade Launcher:
- Compact 40mm grenade launcher. It's firepower is not as large as its full-scaled counterpart, but still high for this small package
- Available after difficulty level 30 exclusively from Separatists (0 for item, 40 for a blueprint reputation required), blueprint and item can be found on wrecks
Compact Rifle:
- Compact 6mm assault rifle. It has worse combat performance compared to the full-scaled version in exchange for ergonomics, comparable to a submachine gun
- Replaces Scrap Cannon in Separatist shops, available after difficulty level 60 (40/80 reputation require for an item/blueprint), blueprint and item can not be found on wrecks
Hand Howitzer:
- A lever action rifle chambering .61 caliber cartridges. Comparing to Handcannon, it has larger tubular magazine and doesn't break hands, but also quite bulky. Supports Rifle Scope
- Replaces RFA in Coalition shops, available after difficulty level 60, 40/80 reputation require for an item/blueprint), blueprint and item can not be found on wrecks
TALENTS:
- Gunsmith - Removed Revolver and Revolver Round recipe, added 20 weapons skill bonus
- Big Guns - Added Physicorium Handcannon Round recipe
- Weaponsmith - Added Revolver recipe
- Munition Expertise - Removed ammo recipes, added increases ammo fabrication yield bonus
- Boarding Party - Removed Harpoon Coil-Rifle recipe
- Slayer - Reduced damage bonuses
- Pacification Kit/Implacable - Replaced Autoshotgun recipe
- Rifleman/Warlord - Replaced Assault Rifle recipe, removed HMG recipe
- Heavy Hitter - Added Hardened Harpoon recipe
- Arms Race - Added Depleted Fuel Shotgun Shell recipe
