The 'Plumb' is a worn and aging U-6 class utility platform which has seen extensive modification into an independently operating vessel. The U-6 are varitable antiques in the current year, but 'Plumb' has been outfitted with equipment new and old to allow it to continue serving in.. some way..
The sight of any U-6 vessels still in use, let alone examples floating around detached from their station tethers on purpose, is a rare sight these days. Its nickname comes from its shape and tendency to "descend with enthusiasm". Incredibly cheap and unfathomably dangerous to operate in the open Europan waterways.
