Quick 'About':
Turns game into simi-creative mode by allowing you to craft all raw resources, and then some.
Important information regarding Rimworld v1.7 and OP-G:
Come version 1.7, this mod will be split into several smaller mods (I have already start some of the prep work for that)
This mod will become a sort of library type mod where the main code and items reside.
For instance, this mod comes with a huge amount of leathers. And i have, over the years, been asked how to remove them.
I'm going to make the Leathers optional.
Main mod will now only come with 1 OP-G Leather: White.
Most items will also be moved to a separate mod.
Mod support (all them patches) will be moved to a separate mod too.
Support for DLCs will be moved to each DLC's respective support-mod.
It might mean a tad bit more work, but i feel better about it like this because it gives you a choice to pick and choose.
How to unlock the stuff:
Research the Neolithic research "OP-G Reality Bending" and you get access to nearly everything of this mod.
Also research "Electricity" to get access to the OP-G Power Generator. (Actually makes sense)
And also research "Hydroponics" and get access to the OP-G Hydroponics basis.
Researching "Battery" give you access to the OP-G battery. A water-tight one at that.
Requirements:
You'll need Player's Only Lib if you don't want the items and materials to generate in the world.
Just Subscribe to it, Enable it, put it before/above OverPowered Gaming. You don't need to do anything else but enjoy.
NOTE: It will not change/remove things that is ALREADY generated, only future generations.
(Yes, it can be added midgame.)
New to the game:
- 2 new research
- 1 new trait
- 2 Factions
- 2 Backstories
- 8 new buildings (3 workbenches, 3 hydroponics, 2 misc)
- 5 new grounds (5 soils)
- 15 new items (12 of which are materials, 1 currency-type, 1 Food, 1 Med Kit)
- 1 Weapon meant for ranged only.
Descriptions:
Core Weaver: Allows you to craft 50x any vanilla common resource.
Leather Weaver: Allows you to craft 50x of any of the OP-G Leathers
Mod Weaver I: If the Support mod (link below) has support for an item of a mod, it goes here.
Mod Weaver II: Allows you to create the special Leathers from this mod and Neurtrainers.
Mod Weaver III: Another Mods table where most recipes for modded items goes.
Hydroponics basis: Just like the OP Soil, has 10,000% fertile soil. Like vanilla, crops die without power.
Also allows nearly any vanilla crop to grow in them, even trees. Works with VGP too.
OP Power Generator: Uses 'OP-G Unstable Matter' as fuel, lasts 17 years, produces 100,000w
OP-G Battery: can store up to 100,000w and has a 100% efficiency rating, and does not pop in rain.
OP-G "Soil": costs 1 unstable matter to build, and has 10,000% Fertility :D
OP-G Unstable Matter: The heart and currency of this mod. (Can get it at the Mods Table)
OP-G Leather: It's not exactly leather, but what else am I gonna call this super versatile material???
It is a VERY powerful material with lots of boosts and powers.
Neruotrainer Recipes: For those looking to get easy access to these skill trainers, here you go!
Healer and Resurrector mecha thingies: These also are now buildable, enjoy!
A litter sister mod which is meant to, but not needed, to go along with OP-G is called "Skill Potions". Just like normal Neurotrainers, trains a skill, but this is where things change, because these can train a skill greatly in a single use. Large potions can train a skill from 0 to 20 (90% of the time...)
The potions comes in Small and Large variants, you need to craft the Catalyst potion to mix with small potions to make Large potions.
I also HIGHLY recommend the ability to stuff Core and Royalty items with this mod: OP-G Stuffed Arms'n'Armor.
Minor Trivia:
1) Semi-Credits: This mod initially started out as a mod of the mod "ED-OmniGel mod" made by Jaxxa.
It has since then evolved into this monstrosity you now use/look upon.
Anyone with a clever eye might be able to find remnants from his mod - I have lost track.
I know for a fact it's not much that is left.
Jaxxa, if by any chance you read this, THANK YOU for ED-OmniGel mod!
2) To start out, you only need 10 >Material< and 5 steel to build the Core Table.
Plus you need 1 chunk of steel to get 50x OP-G Unstable Matter.
From those 50x Unstable Matter you can make 2500 steel, which you once again, can convert into Unstable Matter.
Hope you see where I'm going with this, from 1 chunk of steel and the Core table, you have everything you need.
It also allows you to make Kibble as an emergency food source until you can make something better.
