Pax is a small push- and tugboat which was commonly used to push Dutch barges in the transition from sail power to diesel power. It was too expensive or too difficult to modify a sailing bargeb so they build a smaller secondairy boat with sufficiënt power to push one such barges.
its not a very interesting creation, at its core its not much more than an engine with a hull to keep the engine afloat.
