This job is mainly centered on the usage of melee blades like a Katana. Hence the name, Blade.
Inspired by Katana films, movies or video games, the Job has talents that add buffs for using melee weapons like a Katana.
Blades are more centered on direct combat, and as a result have less utility perks, and more perks related to combat power. They are more capable in direct combat as a frontline fighter when well equipped.
For old visitors/subscribers, perks were recently rebalanced, and new perks were added.

- The Blade has 15 more HP than other jobs, leaving them at a maximum of 115 base HP.
- You can only have 2 Blade players at a time. In singleplayer, you can obtain 1 Blade at the start of the game.
- Blades spawn with Security Level ID Card Encryptors to give them Security level access like Security Officers.
Adds Katanas, and Wakizashis:
Respectively 2 handed, and 1 handed.
You can equip the katana to an empty belt slot by double clicking it from your hot bar. Allowing you to wear it on your hip/side. Double click the Katana from your belt slot to equip it in your hands. If you are wearing something in your belt slot already, then you can just equip it from your hot bar like a normal weapon.
Damaged Katanas, and Wakizashis can be repaired with steel bars at a fabricator. Whether your submarine has one, or the outpost has one.
Old Katana/Wakizashi can be mounted on weapon racks for display in your submarine.

Katanas, and Wakizashis are capable of deflecting incoming projectiles, or melee attacks.
However the hitbox is much smaller than a riot shield, so they are not as effective.
They will at least buy the user some more time, and help you suppress human enemies.
Your character holds katanas low, so you have to wave them around like you are deflecting bullets.
It is easier to deflect projectiles using wakizashis, since you can hold two, and swing them in tandem. However they have lower damage, durability, and limb severing power.
While capable of deflecting bullets, you will inevitably take damage unlike with a riot shield, because the hitbox is very thin, and small in comparison. It does look cool, however.
Energy Cores were added that last thrice as long, but also require thrice as long to recharge.
Using an Energy Core with the HF Blade will heal the user a small amount each hit via MCFC Electrolytes.
Murasama instead increases your attack speed by 10%.
