Experimental in doctrine, if not technology, the Moray is a dedicated "subsurface supression vessel" armed with a small fleet of combat drones to allow it to act as a command and strike nexus able to flexibly respond to multiple low level threats over a wide area, while retaining sufficient firepower for fleet action. The power drain of supporting a squadron of combat drones is immense, and so a lightened station reactor has been fitted, the large size resulting in a exposed, awkward mounting.
Tier 3 Attack Submarine that trades overwhelming firepower for a trio of combat drones, allowing a savvy crew to control the map with ease. The drone wing consists of two fighter drones with chainguns and one bomber drone with two depth charge launchers. While the drones are functionally player only, NPC crewmembers can (probably) handle the rest of the ship as usual, but the vast crew requirements and hunger for fuel rods means that this is probably ideal for a large, well coordinated team. Beyond the drones, features include a brig, two airlocks, and large crew quarters. A brig is included for traitors.
