The Beardling is a submarine in miniature. Designed for one operator, its intended role is as a support craft for EVA expeditions. All these functions are provided in a package that nearly fits inside a Dugong's conning tower.
Expeditions can employ the Beardling as both a support craft and as a transport vehicle. To this end it includes external battery and oxygen supplies as well as a slow-firing coilgun. Its speed permit it to transport away teams swiftly, but this comes at the cost of the need to flood the passenger compartment to let anyone disembark.
The Beardling comes with a highly efficient 1400KW reactor, two batteries, a rather overtuned engine and an emergency diving suit for its sole operator. It also includes a storage vault for supplies. The exterior doors can be locked against accidental opening using the second switch from the left.

Disclaimer:
I mainly made this sub to see if I could make a usable sub that could fit through vertical doors. To achieve this many parts are downsized and close together. The result is that this submarine can only be properly operated while crouching - and with a fair bit of finicking around. For this reason all parts in the rear compartments except the reactor are set invulnerable by default: getting in there at all is an extremely awkward contortionist excercise. Getting out is even harder. Another side effect of this small size is that bots do not properly recognize the ladder and will be unable to climb out of it while it is docked. Consider yourself warned...
